It is always interesting to see what people like to read.  We have previously listed the most popular fiction for adult readers from our most recent fiscal year, so now we will scan other categories.

Top Adult Nonfiction
As is typical, the practical, the local, and the stories dominated use of nonfiction during 2009-10.

First
Many people recognize the need to obtain their GED, so the Steck-Vaughn GED manual was the single most-borrowed title in adult nonfiction.

Cookbooks are always heavily used, along with biography, animals, comics, history, social issues, true crime, and local history.  These were the most borrowed titles:
