What software do I need to download e-books?

For some e-readers, you must install Adobe Digital Editions on your personal computer.

For most tablets and smartphones, e-books can be downloaded directly to the device using the OverDrive app available in the App Store or Android Market.

Which devices can I use with OverDrive e-books?

Do I need an e-reader in order to view OverDrive e-books?

No, OverDrive e-books can also be viewed on your computer using Adobe Digital Editions, a free software download.

For how long can I borrow e-books?

You can choose a lending period of 2 or 3 weeks. At the end of your lending period, your e-book will automatically be returned, so you don't have to worry about late fees. However, e-books cannot renewed.
